Visit SAORINOMORI

At our studios in SAORINOMORI in Izumi, Osaka, SAORI Osaka (Umeda), and SAORI Sendagaya (Tokyo), we welcome visitors from all over the world to discover and experience the joy of SAORI. As the headquarters of Sakaiseikisangyo Co., Ltd. and other family organizations, including SAORI Global LLC, SAORINOMORI in Izumi serves as a centralized space for fostering creativity and community. It offers multi-day retreat stays, one-day classes, resources, events, and inspiration for anyone interested in and practicing SAORI, right in the area where Misao Jo and her close collaborators first started the SAORI movement and practice.

We do not offer overnight accommodations at SAORI Osaka (Umeda) or SAORI Sendagaya (Tokyo). Visitors may participate in individual, one-day sessions at SAORI Osaka and SAORI Sendagaya to explore SAORI and weave freely. A limited quantity and variety of our SAORI products are also available for in-store purchase.

Please note that overnight accommodations and in-depth guidance for international visitors on the SAORI philosophy and practice through weaving, warping, and clothes-making are only offered at our SAORINOMORI in Izumi, Osaka. The guidance is available in Japanese and English only. See links below for more information.

We do not take international reservations for classes offered at other studio locations in Japan at this time. Thank you for your understanding.

*Closed on 10th, 20th and 30th of each month, during mid-Summer (around August 10th - 20th)
